June 19, 2011 Fathers Day

As we all know last Sunday was Father's Day. For those of you who are regular followers to The Sunday Photo Paper you know that most Sundays I spend with my dad. This Sunday had one common theme and that was work! Work as in building furniture and rearranging furniture to make room for new pieces of furniture.  I started my day at my boyfriends house and had a Father's Day breakfast with his family. Him and his brother got their father a new TV while his sister got the new TV stand. My gift to his father was to help build the TV stand with his sister. Little did I know I was going to be doing projects like that all day long. Once the stand was completed I went to my dads house and gave him my gift of new glasses to stock his bar with. He tried the wine glasses right away and loved them! Next it was time to work. We rearranged some of the furniture in our house to make room for the new ones we were receiving. My grandmother just moved out of her house and into an apartment so some of her furniture was up for grabs. My Father took some couches, her entertainment center and her dinning room table. After making room for these items in our house, we went to hers to pick them up. While I was there I shot images of the empty house and will be displaying them on my other blog which you can check out here! After all the hard work my dad's girlfriend took us out for a nice fathers day dinner. When we came home we watched some TV before we all went to bed.  Even though my dad didn't get a of rest, he still enjoyed his day by getting things done of his list and spending it with his daughter.
